River Island Style Spotters

What They Asked For:

Exciting and measureable campaigns linking to the clients exclusive student shop-in events across the UK, engaging and driving footfall of the student population across 5 major cities.

What We Did:

The activation was split in to two parts with the first being dubbed "Style Rangers".  Here a street team of promotional Style Rangers descended on University campuses picking out the 100 of the most stylish students and taking style snaps which were uploaded to the River Island style-insider website, driving footfall to both the site and to the exclusive student live events.   

We wanted to link the experiential activations to the broad spectrum of River Island so that all elements worked within the wider River Island strategy and complimented one another. Our aim was to draw people to the style insider website, making the activity multi-platform and linking the experiential activation to the client's digital output.



Coming in over the target of 100 snaps a day with the golden tickets distributed to the students and leading to the student shop-in activations.
